Guest Characters
This is the part of The Otherwalls that makes me the most excited. The part where I get to feature characters from other creators!
I’m casting characters in cameo and extras roles. Their usage would follow the basic principals of a crossover. Your character shows up, walks past, takes part, and it in no way affects their lives within your original story (unless, of course, you want it to!).
I’m looking specifically for characters that are in some way abandoned, since that’s a key element that’s driven the creation of The Otherwalls. It’s not a requirement at all! If you have a running comic and are generous enough to donate me your stars, I’d be honoured!
All characters get a contributor credit on the page it is on, and your website will be linked on a contributor’s page here on the site. If The Otherwalls is ever sold in print form you’ll be credited in the book, too! (That’s a big if, but it’s free to dream!)
As an example, I’m borrowing the characters from Used Bandaid’s comic The Doctor Pepper Show as speakeasy patrons in Chapter 3. She’s just started re-working the story with new designs, so I’m borrowing her old abandoned ones. Also: go read her comic, it’s good.

[Note: Characters with visual references are more likely to get into the comic, since it’s much easier to draw them than to make up a whole design!]

P.S. The Otherwalls is a growing project. In the future I may be looking for main characters, abandoned story plots, even guest artists and writers. These are big plans, but if you are interested, keep an ear to the ground.
